Safespace does not require traditional account creation or registration. By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old (or meet your country's minimum age requirement). Access may be restricted if these Terms are violated.

Users retain full ownership of all journal entries and content created within the app. Your content is stored locally on your device and synced through your personal iCloud account. When you use AI-powered features, relevant content is sent to third-party AI providers solely to generate responses. By using these features, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content for the purpose of delivering the Service. We do not use your content for any other purpose.
Users are responsible for ensuring their content complies with applicable laws.
Safespace may request access to Apple HealthKit and Calendar data to enhance AI-powered features. This access is entirely optional. Health data is read in a read-only manner; we never write to HealthKit. Only processed summaries (not raw data) are transmitted to our servers for AI context. You can revoke access at any time in the app's Settings.
Safespace offers a three-day free trial. After the trial period, access to the app's features requires a paid subscription.

AI-generated content in Safespace (including reflections, summaries, conversation responses, and notifications) is provided for personal reflective purposes only. It does not constitute professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to medical, psychological, therapeutic, legal, or financial advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how your data is handled and protected.
All original content, features, and functionality of Safespace are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on the Service without prior written consent.
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Safespace shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or 0 EUR if you have not made any payments.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Safespace and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
We may restrict or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, pose a security risk, or if required by law. Since Safespace does not have traditional user accounts, termination may involve restricting access to subscription features. You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app and cancelling your subscription.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
